Removing a window can seem like an unlikely proposition when designing a kitchen, but once on board with the idea, our client didn’t look back and it allowed for a more contemporary design to emerge. The design enabled the space to benefit from additional storage, which otherwise wouldn’t have been possible. A large island, with a full complement of drawers and a wrap-around panel, provides sleek lines. A sense of space is also achieved through the extension of the worktop into the window reveal, resulting in a beautiful, open-plan family kitchen.
