White shaker cabinets with a deep velvet-blue island and light quartz worktops blend stylishly in this open plan family space. During the design-stage, careful planning around a pillar was required and once the layout was resolved, finishing touches, such as brass knobs and antique-mirror splashbacks where introduced.
